Please prepare 1 monologue lasting no more than 3 minutes. Be prepared to read from sides that will be provided upon making an appointment.

Salvador: (Male, 20's, Mexican/Native American). Idealistic, strong, smart. Father from Mexico, Mother Native American from Santa Rosa. He was raised in Suchitlan, Mexico.
Marco: (Male 20’s-30’s, Latinx): Undocumented. Shrewd. Calculating. Hustler. Several other roles.
Sal’s father: (Male, 40’s-50’s, Latinx). Simple. Womanizer. Bitter since his wife left him. Several other roles.
Al: (Male, 30's-40's, White/German). Muscular, angry. Note: This track includes a number of characters of various ethnicities, including Latinx & Native American.
Eldine: (40’s-50’s, Female, Native American from Santa Rosa). Sal’s Aunt. Manipulative. Opportunistic. Secretive. Damaged survivor of life. Also Catarina - “la vieja de la calle” a spirit.
Ofelia: (20’s Latinx) Salvador’s love interest. Several other roles.
Candy: (30’s-50’s, Native American from Santa Rosa). Sal’s aunt/Eldine’s sister. Damaged survivor of life. Also young Lily (Sal’s mother), and several other roles.
