SPT SPT 6; Equity Minimum: $430

SEEKING

Seeking excellent actors-singers with dance ability. Particularly interested in seeing Equity actors who are new to Atlanta or who have Atlanta housing and are able to work as local jobbers.

PREPARATION

Sides will be provided. Everyone should also prepare one song (minimum 32 bars - gospel, blues or R&B) and be prepared with a second contrasting song. If you have not been seen at Horizon before, please also prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues. Please bring two photos and resumes.

NOTE: This is an Equity audition call. Non-Equity actors will be seen at the discretion of the theatre and should submit a photo and resume and indicate their non-union status in their request.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

GINNY, a wise old aunt late 40's or older / HESTER, Carrie's best friend, late teens
/ ANNIE MAY, Pearl's mother, late 40's or older

SIMON, Negro League the baseball player/boyfriend late teens early 20's / WILLIE, Pearl's husband and the World War I veteran mid to late 20's
