**Out of an abundance of caution, the producers have chosen to cancel this EPA audition for the safety of our members and everyone involved. These EPAs will not be rescheduled. They will be accepting video audition submissions in lieu of the EPAs. A separate notice for video submissions will be posted
with submission information.**

Equity actors for various roles. See breakdown.

PREPARATION

Actors will read from sides, provided at the EPA. Sides will also be available on the theatre website prior to the auditions.

Rehearses for 3 weeks prior to opening. Most rehearsals are going to be daytime rehearsals M-F during the hours of 9-5 with a periodic evening rehearsal and all day on one Sunday.

Runs: April 24th, 2020 - May 17th, 2020

Pursuant to the terms of a concession made to this employer's agreement, the employer has agreed that any Equity member who attends this call will have an opportunity to be seen.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

BREAKDOWN

Harry Miller – (Late 40s) WWII veteran, blue collar worker with two children, Luci & Freddy. He is a life-long fanatical fan of the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. He is also a tinkerer and dreams of hitting it big with one of his inventions.

Luci Miller – (22) Daughter of Harry and Rose. She is a young woman with a dynamic personality and a quick mind. She has been out on her own and working as a road manager for a famous rock band. She is hip, hot and has been ruthless in getting to her position in life.

Freddy Miller – (18) Son of Larry and Rose. A generally great son who has always been fascinated by his father’s war exploits and stories. He’s bright, perceptive but lacks direction in his life.

Marvin Dubs – (Mid to Late 40s) An African-American who is Harry’s best brined and next-door neighbor. He saved Harry’s life during the war. They share some dark secrets about their war activities. He owns a local junk yard and has been moderately successful. Fancies himself as a Republican.

Bert Tutabella – (Mid to Late 40s) Rose’s older brother. He became wealthy by dealing black-market goods during WWII and is associated with the Italian mob. He is a gruff, ruthless bully lacking any moral character. Rose adores him and thinks he is a successful legit businessman.
