Seeking Seeking talent for the remount of 3-D Theatricals production. We are only seeking the following rolls. Contracts will be considered for the roles of : Lorraine, and 1 Chorus; please see breakdown
Preparation Prepare a brief vocal selection, preferably in the style of the show, that best shows range. Please bring headshot and resume. A Score will be available at auditions if you'd like to sing from show.

Breakdown
LORRAINE: To play 16. African American. Sylvia's daughter. She is a fun-loving sweet girl who wants more out of life than she is getting in this dull town. She soon falls madly in love with Dean and they have a forbidden love affair. She must have a powerhouse voice with a strong mix/belt. She needs to move very well; dancer is a plus. SHERIFF EARL: Mid 40's-50’s. The law in town. A man of not many words. Baritone and should move well, but not terribly important. Should have great comic timing and can take command of a moment or take the back seat when appropriate. ENSEMBLE: Ages 18-mid 40’s. All vocal types and ethnicities. To play various townsfolk and featured roles. Specific Ensemble replacement information below: 2 Male Dancers: Need to be incredibly skilled dancers. Any kind of tricks or tumbling is a huge plus. These guys need to be youthful and fit; to play 18-20's. Should also be comfortable with lifts and partnering. Preferably they should be tenors, but not required. Male Singer/Mover #1: Tenor. 20's-40's. Great character actor that can make fantastic choices and should have a distinct look. Is an adult in the town. Needs to move well. Male Singer/Dancer: Tenor. 18-20's. Great character actor that can make fantastic choices. Nerdy, but charming. Featured singer/dancer in "Blue Suede Shoes." Male Singer/Mover #2: Baritone. 20's-40's. Is the baritone solo in "Jailhouse Rock," Bus Driver, etc. Needs to be a great character actor to play multiple roles. Man's man, masculine and needs to move very well. Should be in shape. Female Dancer: Any vocal range. Needs to be an incredibly skilled dancer. Must be in shape. To play 18-20's. Pointe is a huge plus. Should have killer extension and be able to convey everything from sexy and confident to shy and meek. Female Singer/Dancer: Alto. Must be a true singer and dancer. Sexy and confident. Late 20's-30"s. African American/ethnic is a plus, but not required. Must be fit (wears a unitard), and curvy is a plus. Female Singer/Dancer: Soprano with high belt/mix. Very cute. She is a nerd, but the kind when you take off the glasses she is transforms. Tons of personality and needs to be a fantastic actor with a great sense of comedic timing. think of her like "Penny" in "Hairspray." She is a true singer and dancer; needs to dance and sing her face off. Female Singer/Mover: Mezzo (ability to sing both alto and soprano a plus, but not required). 30's-40's. Great character actress that can make fantastic choices. Must move very well and ability to hold her own harmony in a trio. Female Singer/Mover: Alto. 30's-40's. Great character actress with excellent comedic timing. Owner of the shoe shop. Should move very well and able to hold her own harmony in a trio. Female Singer/Mover: Soprano with high belt/mix. Great character actress that can make fantastic choices. Must move well and able to hold her own harmony in a trio. Understudy's for principal roles will come from the ensemble.
