PREPARATION

MONOLOGUE: Please prepare two contemporary contrasting monologues, not to exceed four minutes. You may not be asked to do the second monologue.

Please bring copy of headshot and resume, stapled together.

DEV - (based on Semyon Semyonovich Medvedenko) Con's best friend. In love with Mash.

MASH - (based on Masha) A musician in love with Conrad. Manipulative.

NINA - (based on Nina Mikhailovna Zarechnaya) Con's love interest. Wants to become a famous actress. Flighty.

EMMA ARKADINA - (based on Irina Nikolayevna Arkadina) Con's mother. A famous actress. Jaded, jealous, and overbearing.

DOYLE TRIGORIN - (based on Boris Alexeyevich Trigorin) Emma's lover. A famous and successful novelist.

DR. EUGENE SORN - (based on Sorin) An old friend of Con and Emma's.

Seeking Diverse actors to play characters in new plays for a series of new short plays about myths in the Greater Pittsburgh area. These actors may be part of a recurring cast that performs in all performances or they may be in one performance.
