Company, a landmark musical by Stephen Sondheim (music and lyrics) and George Furth (book), is a witty and insightful exploration of relationships, marriage, and the complexities of adult life in New York City.
The story revolves around Bobby, a single man in his mid-thirties, surrounded by married friends who constantly question his bachelorhood. Through a series of vignettes featuring his married couples, Bobby grapples with the concept of commitment and wonders if marriage is truly for him. He witnesses the joys and struggles of his friends' relationships, from the seemingly perfect couple with underlying tensions to the openly dysfunctional pairings.
Company, which premiered on Broadway in 1970, is considered a groundbreaking musical. It broke away from traditional narratives and tackled contemporary themes of relationships and singledom. The musical has enjoyed numerous successful revivals, including a critically acclaimed 2018 production directed by Marianne Elliott, proving its enduring relevance.

Night of January 16th is a courtroom drama by Ayn Rand. The play depicts the trial of Karen Andre (Hosanna Phillips of Hazel Park), who is accused of murdering Bjorn Faulkner, her boss and secret lover.

Bobby has a full social calendar but avoids romantic commitments. On the night of his thirty-fifth birthday, he reassesses his life by reviewing his relationships with his married friends and girlfriends. While all his friends are happy with their spouses, marriage has never been Bobby's speed. Through a series of vignettes showcasing his friend's day to day lives as couples, Bobby is taken on a journey of self-discovery. Smart and funny, Company takes the audience on a journey of one man's lonely life while he figures out the true meaning behind 'Being Alive'.
