RWS Entertainment Group is seeking singers, dancers and singer/dancers for productions aboard Holland America Line and Azamara Club Cruise’s luxury ships as well as upcoming Theme Park Halloween and Holiday contracts.

Open Calls for Singers and Dancers (Union/Non-Union) will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Hershey School of Dance, Hershey Square, 1176 Mae Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036. Dancers can choose to attend either one of the audition times.

Male and Female Dancers #1: Sign-in at 9:30am for a 10am start

Male and Female Dancers #2: Sign-in at 5pm for a 5:30pm start

Male and Female Singers: Sign-in at 8pm for an 8:30pm start

Seeking:

MALE SINGERS & SINGER/DANCERS: Any ethnicity. 5’8” or taller. Attractive, engaging performers who can command a stage and tell a story – think leading man. Sensational tenors and bari-tenors with strong falsetto. Contemporary sounding voices with the ability to perform pop/rock. Strong harmonizing skills a must. Must be comfortable with guest interaction. Must move or dance well.

FEMALE SINGERS & SINGER/DANCERS: Any ethnicity. 5’2” or taller. Attractive, engaging performers who can command a stage and tell a story. Sensational belters with strong mix/head. Contemporary sounding voices with the ability to perform pop/rock. Strong harmonizing skills a must. Must be comfortable with guest interaction. Must move or dance well.

MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS: Any ethnicity. Ladies: 5’2”-5’9”. Gentlemen: 5’7”-6’4”. Strong, versatile dancers with lean, toned physiques and great technique who are comfortable performing a wide range of dance styles from ballet to commercial jazz to theatre. Ballroom/partnering, tapping, tumbling and aerial skills a plus.

Preparation:

SINGERS & SINGER/DANCERS: Please prepare two songs from the RWS repertoire. Go to
rwsaudition.com/auditionsongs, and you will see our song options in the folder. Choose your songs and download the musical track as well as the sheet music. The songs under the track marked with an “M” (for example, M1) are male songs and the tracks marked with “F” (for example, F2) are female songs. We will have the tracks available for use at the audition. Accompanist will NOT be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.

DANCERS: A series of dance combinations will be taught. Please wear form-fitting dance attire. Women should bring character heels and flats. Bring headshot and resume stapled together.

ALL performers MUST be 18 or over to be contracted.

Cruise Ship casting will be ongoing with many casts formed throughout 2019. Rehearsals in NYC. Worldwide itineraries.

Theme Park casting will be seasonal for various parks throughout the US. Halloween contracts generally run end of August/early September through the end of October. Holiday contracts generally run end of October/early November through late December/early January 2020.

Pay Rate for Holland America and Azamara: $600-$1,200/week. Travel and lodging provided.
Pay Rate for Theme Parks: Varies per location and season.
