DEAR EVAN HANSEN Writers Pasek and Paul Will Present a Special West Coast Concert

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who are best known for their songwriting work on Dear Evan Hansen, The Greatest Showman, and La La Land, will appear at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California on January 7th.

The concert, entitled Pasek and Paul:Up Close and Personal with Special Guests, will feature stories and songs from throughout their joint-songwriting career. The event will be moderated by Michael Kerker, a Vice President of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, and will feature yet-to-be-announced special guests performing some of Pasek and Paul's songs.

As a songwriting duo, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul have won an Academy Award, a Tony Award, a Grammy Award, and two Golden Globe Awards In addition to Dear Evan Hansen, the pair's musical theatre catalogue includes Dogfight, James and the Giant Peach, and A Christmas Story: The Musical. They are currently working on original songs for Disney's live-action adaptions of both Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Aladdin.

The event will begin at 7pm in the Segerstrom Center for the Arts' Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Tickets go on sale on December 2 and can be purchased here.
