Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati presented by TriHealth has announced a highly-anticipated season lineup of shows including previously announced SIX, along with new musicals BEETLEJUICE, MJ: THE MUSICAL, and more.
The North American tour of the 10-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical THE BAND’S VISIT, featuring music and lyrics by Tony and Drama Desk Award®-winner David Yazbek, will resume its national tour on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Durham Performing Arts Center and continue on to more than 25 cities through Summer 2022.
The national tour of 'Come From Away' is warming hearts across America. A 'Best Musical' winner all around the world, the smash hit musical has won the Tony Award for 'Best Direction of a Musical' (Christopher Ashley), 4 Olivier Awards (London) including 'Best New Musical,' 5 Outer Critics Circle Awards (NYC) including 'Outstanding New Broadway Musical,' 3 Drama Desk Awards (NYC) including 'Outstanding Musical,' 4 Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards (North American Tour) including 'Best Production,' 4 Helen Hayes Awards (D.C.) including 'Outstanding Production of a Musical,' 4 Gypsy Rose Lee Awards (Seattle) including 'Excellence in Production of a Musical,' 6 San Diego Critics Circle Awards including 'Outstanding New Musical,' 3 Toronto Theatre Critics Awards including 'Best New Musical,' 3 Dora Awards (Toronto) including 'Outstanding New Musical/Opera' and 'Outstanding Production,' and the 2017 Jon Kaplan Audience Choice Award (Toronto).
Ticket go on sale Friday, November 22 for four additional shows in the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati season presented by TriHealth. Ticket prices for all four shows start at $31 and will be available at the Aronoff Center Box Office downtown at 650 Walnut Street, online at CincinnatiArts.org or by phone at 513.621.ARTS starting at 9:00AM.
Another joyous season is about to kick off with the return of Happy Holidays with the Mighty Wurlitzer to Cincinnati's Music Hall Ballroom on Tuesday, December 3 at 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM, presented by The Friends of Music Hall (formerly known as the Society for the Preservation of Music Hall). This festive annual concert has become one of the Tri-state's most anticipated holiday music events.
The Cincinnati May Festival announced program details and artists for the 2020 Festival with nine performances taking place between May 21 and 31, 2020 at Cincinnati Music Hall as well as other locations, and an additional performance on April 5, 2020 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, Kentucky. Joining the Festival's artistic leadership team of Principal Conductor Juanjo Mena and Director of Choruses Robert Porco is 2020 Artistic Partner John Adams.
