YANG Yang's Multimedia Theatre Orange Love
Orange Love, created by YANG Yang, has adopted a brand-new concept of theatre arts called “POV” (point of view), in which the figures are projected effectively on the screen through photographer’s live shooting, director’s editing and relevant film skills. By means of combining skills of multiple stage arts, the story is developed via videos, sections of script, exquisite stage design and movements.
Characters are dancing, whispering, fondling, and smiling in an empty room, which they once regarded as heaven. They run, kiss, embrace, make eye contact with each other and do crazy things on the street, which they once regarded as love. They met each other on the street, they believe in miracle and telepathy and they even believe that they have found their soul mates in such a vast crowd.
All plots and what happens on the stage in Orange Love are unpredictable and dazzling.
