Lookingglass Theatre Company has announced the cast for the World Premiere of Villette by Sara Gmitter, adapted from the Charlotte Brontë novel.
HELLO, DOLLY!, the musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder's hit play 'The Matchmaker,' bursts with humor, romance, and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history. Experience this charming Broadway hit directed and choreographed by 2-time Tony Award nominee Denis Jones. Musical direction is by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson.
As part of the annual recognition of theater excellence, the 47th Non-Equity Jeff Awards today announced honorees in 21 artistic and technical categories. Recipients included 27 theater artists whose work was featured at 14 theater companies during the 2019-2020 season.
With the conclusion of the 2019-2020 Chicago non-Equity theater season, the Jeff Awards announced the nominees for the 47th annual awards for theater excellence that include 120 theater artists across 21 categories.

Love's trilogy of black love at pivotal moments in history, helmed by Company Member Mikael Burke, director of last season's acclaimed production of Hooded, or Being Black for Dummies. SUGAR IN OUR WOUNDS will play October 19 – November 23, 2019 at FFT's resident home, The Den Theatre (2B), 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are currently on sale at firstfloortheater.com. The press opening Thursday, October 24 at 7:30 pm.
