US PERFORMING ARTS IN WASHINGTON DC - CAMP INFORMATION
Camp Type: Sleepaway Session Length: 1 Week Camp Focus: Musical Theatre Theatre Acting Arts Programming Avail

Broadway artists, professional faculty, and students with a passion for singing join together for this 6-day intensive Voice Camp. Daily workshops offered will focus on developing healthy vocal techniques, music theory,sight-reading, song interpretation, and acting for the singer. Students will work on broadening the versatility of their vocal performance - studying classical styles as well as Broadway belt and pop genres. Voice classes will not only be group-oriented but will also provide one-on-one coaching and feedback for students. Interactive workshops will provide students with instruction on on how to sell the lyrics of a song, build vocal repertoire for auditions, and find and select new material to sing.
