Hulu Picks Up British Drama BUTTERFLY

Hulu has picked up the British drama, Butterfly, from Fremantle, according to Deadline. Hulu will launch the three-part mini-series on January 18.

Fronted by the Anna Friel, best known for starring in Marcella, Butterfly is written by The Secret Agent writer Tony Marchant.

The mini-series tells the story of the complex relationship between separated parents, Vicky, played by Friel and Stephen, played by Emmett J. Scanlan, and their division in opinion over how to support their youngest child, Max, played by Callum Booth-Ford. From a young age, Max has identified as a girl but has tried to suppress these feelings in an attempt to earn Stephen's approval.
