Brontë Fall has just dropped her latest single. “Making It Up” is a renewal of vows of sorts; to living the artist’s life and everything that goes along with it. “When it’s all said and done, I wouldn’t trade this creative life for anything,” says songwriter Teri Bracken—better known by her stage name Brontë Fall. “I wrote this song midway through 2021 after the music industry had been halted so dramatically from the pandemic,” remembers Fall. The iconic post-punk band The Chameleons have announced a new three-song EP, which mark their first new studio recordings in over 20 years. An artful combination that embraces their past work while opening their arms for artistic expansion, “Where Are You?” fits neatly into the band’s oeuvre. The band is currently preparing for a round of North American dates beginning on May 30th in San Diego.

Country’s only all-vocal band, Home Free, teams with an all-American legend, offering a masterful new take on the Don McLean classic, “Vincent.” Home Free remake the track in their signature harmony blend, adding a rich sonic texture to match the song’s inspiration. An official music video is also out now and features McLean, as the collaborators pay homage to impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh and world-famous artwork like The Starry Night. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Cris Jacobs has released a new video for his song “Poor Davey,” which appears on his brand-new album One Of These Days. The video features in-studio footage of the recording with special guests Billy Strings, The Infamous Stringdusters and producer Jerry Douglas. The spirited track is based on actual events. It tells the dark tale of young man who grew up in a house where years earlier a teenager murdered his family. Watch the video here!

The Hails have announced that they will be headlining Gainesville, Florida’s infamous High Dive’s last hurrah, All Hail High Dive, before closure. Taking place on May 19, with support still to be announced, the indie five-piece is the perfect example of the musical launch pad High Dive has been for the Florida music scene over the last decade plus. Last week, High Dive’s founder and owner Pat Lavery shared on social media that the venue is coming to a sudden end after their landlord informed them they had 30 days to vacate to make way for the new owner who will redevelop the property. 

New York pop savants Charly Bliss want their new album FOREVER, out August 16th on Lucky Number Music, to crush you under the weight of pure feeling. ATO Records’ Chicago-based quintet Brigitte Calls Me Baby have released the official video for their single “Eddie My Love.” The video is directed by Alec Basse and Max Moore. “‘Eddie My Love” paved the way for all the songs that would come after it,” says the band’s vocalist and songwriter Wes Leavins, who first penned the track as a ballad. “It felt so vulnerable from the jump, and made me realize that there’s no point in being anything but vulnerable in what we do.” Watch the video here!
