National Ballet of Canada's THE NUTCRACKER Sells Out with Record-Breaking Sales

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada and Barry Hughson, Executive Director today announced that all performances of The Nutcracker are completely sold out with a record-breaking box office of $4.5 million and 52,685 attending the holiday favourite.

Torontonians love The Nutcracker. Created in 1995 by James Kudelka with score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, sets and costumes by Santo Loquasto and lighting by Jennifer Tipton, over 1,209,116 adults and children have attended the beloved production.

Sold out for the past four seasons, The Nutcracker is onstage until December 30, 2018 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. A limited number of standing room only tickets are available for $12 at 11:00 am on the day of the performance in person at the Four Seasons Centre box office.

For those still looking for the perfect holiday gift, tickets for the smash hit production Alice's Adventures in Wonderland are now on sale, onstage March 7 - 17, 2019.
