SALUTE TO VIENNA NEW YEAR'S CONCERT Comes to Symphony Hall

Usher in the New Year with a glittery celebration of singing and dancing that will delight the senses. Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert recreates the beauty of Vienna's golden era and its elegance charms audiences of every age, in one performance only at Symphony Hall in Boston on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 8:00 PM.

A 7-year Boston tradition, this year's concert will feature a brilliant new program of Strauss waltzes and sweeping melodies from beloved operettas performed by acclaimed European singers, champion ballroom dancers, ballet, and live symphony orchestra.

Join Viennese conductor Oliver Ostermann and The Strauss Symphony of America, who will perform with soprano Micaëla Oeste, tenor Brian Cheney, with members of the Kiev-Aniko Ballet of Ukraine, and International Champion Ballroom Dancers. Audiences young and old will be carried away by the first notes of the eternal Blue Danube Waltz.

Inspired by Vienna's beloved New Year's Concert, this frothy celebration blends acclaimed European singers and dancers with a full orchestra for a rich cultural experience that will leave your toes tapping.
