Imogen Heap Brings Mycelia World Tour To Emerson Colonial Theatre

Emerson Colonial Theatre announces award-winning recording artist and renowned tech innovator Imogen Heap, recognized for creative works including "Hide and Seek" and "Tiny Human," in concert as part of her first world tour in eight years. Heap will play the historic Emerson Colonial Theatre on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 8pm. Heap will reunite with Guy Sigsworth, playing together for the first time since 2003 as electronic duo Frou Frou.

Tickets are priced at $39.50, $49.50 and $59.50 and go on sale to the general public Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at emersoncolonialtheatre.com, by calling 888.616.0272 or by visiting the box office at the Emerson Colonial Theatre at 106 Boylston Street in Boston. The box office is open Tuesday through Friday at 12pm, Saturday at 10am and closed on Sunday and Monday. Online and phone ticket purchases are subject to standard service fees.

The Boston date is part of the larger 40-city tour, comprised of concerts, talks and workshops. The tour will be used as a platform to officially launch Mycelia's "Creative Passport," realizing a vision of the future which sees music makers connected through a verified and decentralized ecosystem, promoting artist-led fair and sustainable operating practices.

Using emergent blockchain technology, the "Creative Passport," which is unique to each music maker and empowers them to be 'open for business,' contains personal information, existing IDs, acknowledgements, works and business partners. Featuring template 'smart contracts,' it enables quick and easy direct payments to simplify and democratize collaboration from meaningful commercial partnerships to creativity.
