Nominees Announced For 15th Annual ORPHEUM HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS

The Orpheum Theatre Group has announced that the annual Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards (HSMTA) will take place on Thursday, May 23 at 7pm at the Orpheum Theatre. Students and supporters from 50 participating schools across the Mid-South will gather at the Orpheum Theatre to celebrate the 15th annual High School Musical Theatre Awards.

Playwright Will Arbery is an American playwright, screenwriter and TV writer, known for his plays Heroes of the Fourth Turning, Plano, and Evanston Salt Costs Climbing. Heroes of the Fourth Turning was a finalist for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and will be presented in Wagner College Theatre's Stage One venue next May as part of the 2024-25 season.
