BALTIMORE - Maryland-based theater production company, ArtsCentric, will revive the iconic 1970s rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar” this October in a newly designed theater space located in The Best Western Plus Hotel & Conference Center (location of the former Toby’s Dinner Theater of Baltimore - 5625 O’Donnell St. Baltimore, MD 21224). Written by dynamic duo Tim Rice (lyrics) and Andrew Lloyd Webber (music), and borrowing from the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, this captivating piece follows the last seven days in the life of Jesus Christ. Performances will run every Thursday - Saturday @ 7:30pm and Sunday @ 5:00pm from October 17th until November 2nd (suitable for ages 12+ and wheel-chair accessible). The production features Shaun Mykals as Jesus, Dan Sonntag as Judas, Shayla Lowe as Mary Magdalene, and is rounded out with a talented multi-cultural cast.
