Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson has announced the continuation of LAST CALL: ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD, a tour that played to standing room only crowds in sold-out arenas coast-to-coast in 2022. Jackson’s 2024 – 2025 tour will hit an initial list of 10 arenas across America…each marking the last time he’ll ever perform his more-than-30 years of hits in that city and surrounding areas.

Universal has just released a new featurette for the upcoming horror movie A Quiet Place: Day One starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn. Prime Video has revealed that Laurence Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear, who, as previously announced, joined the Season Two cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, will portray the fan-favorite J.R.R. Tolkien character Tom Bombadil. The second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on August 29, 2024.

According to reports, Tony Award-winning actor John Benjamin Hickey will be starring in a pilot for a new series from Amazon MGM Studios called Band. The series comes from real-life couple Daniel and Ben Barnz who previously helmed the Max series Genera+ion.

The new season of Mayor of Kingstown, starring Jeremy Renner, will premiere June 2 on Paramount+. In season three, a series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop in the city, and a drug war rages inside and outside prison walls. According to reports, Glenn Close has become the latest actor to join the next Knives Out installment, Wake Up Dead Man. She joins the previously announced Kerry Washington, Josh O'Connor, Cailee Spaeny, and Andrew Scott. The details of their roles are being kept under wraps. The film will hit Netflix sometime in 2025.

Philadelphia-based indie pop star Kississippi has officially announced a West Coast run of tour dates with indie rock musician talker throughout July 2024. Before the artist heads out on tour, she'll hit the stage at Philly Pride 365 BE YOU Festival in her home city of Philadelphia at the Muses Stage on June 2. A full list of tour dates can be found here. Tickets are on sale on Friday.
