Comedian, talk show host, actor and Emmy-Award winner Ellen DeGeneres is back with a brand new comedy special launching on Netflix later this year. This marks Ellen’s second stand-up with Netflix, after 2018’s Relatable.

According to a panel at NBCUniversal's upfront presentation, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé will be joining The Voice for Season 26. Both musicians have appeared on the music competition series in the past, Snoop Dogg as a mega mentor in Season 20 and Bublé as an advisor to Team Blake in Season 3.

Netflix has announced the release date for Season 3 of Heartstopper, along with a short clip from the upcoming season. Season 3 will arive on Netflix on October 3, 2024. The video is accompanied by an exclusive snippet of the track Birds of a Feather from the upcoming album Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish. Joe Locke, who recently made his Broadway debut as Tobias in Sweeney Todd, stars in the series as Charlie Spring.

New reports suggest that an extended first look at the Wicked film, totaling between three and four minutes, will premiere online later this week. The new footage was first shown to ad buyers at Radio City Music Hall on Monday during NBCUniversal's upfront presentation. The footage in question showcased new visual effects as well as the dynamic between Ariana Grande's Glinda and Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba. It reportedly received a 'warm response' from the audience.

Old Crow Medicine Show has announced the return of founding member Christopher “Critter” Fuqua to the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning band. Following a four-year hiatus, Fuqua will be re-joining the group on their current Jubilee Tour in support of their GRAMMY-nominated album and 25th anniversary, with new dates just announced, including two performances at the Grand Ole Opry on May 17 and 18.

Arizona rock icons Jimmy Eat World have announced their return to the UK and Europe with seven headline shows taking place in November 2024. The dates will begin at Berlin’s Columbiahalle on 7th November before arriving in the UK on 13th November at Glasgow’s O2 Academy, at Manchester's Victoria Warehouse on 14th November, and closing at London’s Alexandra Palace on 15th November - a huge moment for Jimmy Eat World marking their biggest London headline show to date.

“Disney Jr. Live On Tour: Let’s Play” presented by Walmart marks the latest version of the Disney Jr. live tour, which will visit over 60 U.S. cities this fall. New to the tour this year is the addition of Ariel from the highly anticipated new series “Disney Jr.’s Ariel,” who will make her debut alongside Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and characters from other fan-favorite Disney Jr. series, including “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” and “SuperKitties.” The tour will also feature the iconic Clubhouse from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Childish Gambino is set to take the global stage once again with The New World Tour. The long-awaited Australia and New Zealand leg kicks off on 28 January 2025 at Auckland’s Spark Arena, before continuing through Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in February 2025. Following Imelda Staunton's recent statements about a third Downton Abbey film, it has been confirmed that another installment in the franchise is indeed happening. Simon Curtis is returning to direct after helming 2022’s Downton Abbey: A New Era, and much of the original cast is returning, along with some new additions.

Emerging Queer pop star Zolita debuts a brand new gut wrenching track “Grown Up,” appearing on her forthcoming album Queen of Hearts due May 31 via AWAL. A blistering indictment of a past relationship, Zolita sings “I don’t get how you were having fun, I was way too young,” the music gathering fury with each repetition of the lyric. According to reports, Tim Meadows, Jaboukie Young-White, Jamilah Rosemond and Jayson Lee are rounding out the cast for the upcoming musical film from Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry. They join the previously announced Janelle Monáe, Missy Elliott, Brian Tyree Henry, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Halle Bailey, and recent Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

Tune into Good Morning America next week to take part in a celebration of 30 years of Disney on Broadway. On Thursday, May 16, the ABC morning show will celebrate the milestone of Disney's long history of shows on Broadway, beginning in 1994 with Beauty and the Beast. Since that time, several Disney shows have played the Great White Way including The Lion King, Mary Poppins, and now Aladdin. The program will air 7:00-9:00 a.m. EDT on ABC.
