Jerri has loved taking photos all her life and was always the one in the family who took everyone’s picture. After her daughter was born, Jerri started scrapbooking and she became interested in taking better pictures for her scrapbooks. Then after her daughter started an interest in musical theatre, Jerri started taking pictures of the shows and developed a love for musical theatre as well. She has been seen snapping pics at many theatres around Columbus and surrounding areas. Jerri's bucket list before she moves on from this world is to shoot a show on Broadway! This show is an adaptation of the hit 80's movie about a teenager who moves from Chicago to a small farming town that has banned dancing and rock and roll music. 'Temperamentals' was a code word for homosexuals in the early 1950s, part of a created language of secret words that gay men used to communicate. The Temperamentals tells the story of two men - the communist Harry Hay and the Viennese refugee and designer Rudi Gernreich - as they fall in love while building the first gay rights organization along with Chuck Rowland, Bob Hull, and Dale Jennings, in the pre-Stonewall United States. It is a true story. This production is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Barbara Sokol.

Linda Roth returns for another memorable cabaret. Linda's appearances in Follies, Sunset Boulevard, The Great One and as the spirited Trudy in last year's Christmas at Lazarus, make her a favorite performer at Short North Stage. So have her several cabarets, most recently 'The Apple Doesn't Fall' with Johnny Steiner and her daughter Allison. Columbus Moving Company presents GLASS, a touching and dynamic tale of the fragility of life and the will to do more than simply survive. With inspiration from Justin Richards, The Glass Princess, and in collaboration with MaD Arts Group. GLASS, is the story of Princess Clio, a young girl who is poisoned and sleeps through decades of civilizations while only experiencing life through dreams in a glass stasis bed. Local composer Kevin Estes has created an original dramatic sound score written in four movements. The music includes a glass waterfall, tuned wine glasses, and an instrument made from 29 glass bottles created by Estes himself that will all be used live in performance. This unique collaboration brings movement and music together to create a stunning portrayal of youthful innocence, despair, and the will to survive the darkness of eternal rest.

Actors' Theatre of Columbus' season opens with the premiere of local playwright Vidas Barzdukas' Captain Blood. This story follows the adventures of Dr. Peter Blood who is convicted of treason for tending to the wounds of a nobleman during a rebellion against King James II in England and is sentenced to slavery on the island of Barbados. Once there, Blood finds love, escapes from slavery, and falls in with pirates, not knowing that his new career will take him back to the plantation and to the woman he left behind.
