Jacob Sanchez

Jacob Rivera-Sanchez is currently an Equity Membership Candidate through Actors' Equity Association and has appeared onstage in several regional productions including Casa Mañana's productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, and Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat.

Also working as a freelance theatre artist across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Jacob is currently serves as the Business Manager for Theatre Wesleyan, the department of theatre at Texas Wesleyan University.  Jacob graduated from Wesleyan in May 2015 with his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Theatre, receiving multiple honors including Magna Cum Laude and Mr. Texas Wesleyan. He was a recipient of the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship which granted him a full ride to Texas Wesleyan.

Jacob also serves as a Member At-Large on the board for the Live Theatre League of Tarrant County and most recently directed Baby: The Musical for Music Place Mansfield Studio Theatre, served as assistant director and stage manager for Legally Blonde: The Musical with Grand Prairie Arts Council, and appeared onstage in The Firehouse Theatre's The Drowsy Chaperone.

As part of the Fall 2020 season, Jacob will be directing Theatre Wesleyan's production of Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl.  This academic year marks his 5th calendar year as the business manager and sixth academic year of Theatre Wesleyan's production program.
