Jakob is currently studying a Bachelor of Music Education in Classical Voice at Université de Moncton. He has always had a love of musical theatre and acting. He can be seen on the small screen in Mr. D as a background student (CBC Television, Season 1-2), Christmas with Holly as a background wedding guest (Hallmark Entertainment). He has also done quite a number of stage productions including: Guys and Dolls as Lt. Brannigan, Godspell as Jeffrey, Into the Woods as The Baker (Neptune’s Youth Performance Company); Atlantis as Odin, Sans Bornes as Monsieur DeMons, Métropole as Le Maire (École du Carrefour); Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean as Joe Qualley (Dartmouth Players Community Theatre), A Christmas Carol: The Musical as Ghost of Christmas Present/Ensemble (Centre of Arts and Education/Atlantic Ballet Theatre), La Clemenza di Tito as Chorus, Le Nozze di Figaro as Dr Bartolo (Université de Moncton, Opera Workshop), Street Scene as Henry Davis/Daniel Buchanan (Halifax Summer Opera Festival, Eastern Canadian Premiere), La Vallée des Possibles as Monsieur DesBarres/Chorus (Memramcook Cultural Society). He is also an acclaimed writer who has received two award placings: 3rd Place, Best Television Screenplay (Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards); 2nd Place, Best Television Concept (Las Vegas Screenplay Contest). He has received two Finalist placings: New York Screenplay Contest and Los Angeles Screenplay Contest.
