AMDA SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS In Buenos Aires, October 6th

Argentinian actress Emilia Attias, traveled to the big apple with the TV program 'Chicas en NY¨ (Girls in NY ); the show will be broadcast this upcoming weekend.

Auditions in Buenos Aires will be on Saturday October 6th at 10 am.  All performers who audition, and who are accepted, are awarded scholarships to AMDA ranging from $1000 to $15, 000 per year of study. A monologue and a song are required for the audition. 

Alice Ripley visited Argentina, not only she gave an amazing masterclass, she also performed as Diana in Next to Normal Argentina.

In 2012 Casi Normales premiered at Teatro Liceo with a group of super talented argentinian performers like Laura conforte, Fernando Dente and Mariano Chiesa. After 5 years of successful productions in Argentina, and also collaborations with the original cast from broadway and Spain, in 2018 Casi Normales came back to the tabloids on its 7th season here in Buenos Aires. in this oportunity with the incorporations of Franco Masini as Henri, Natalie's boyfriend. Natalie is played by Manuela del Campo who has own this role for the last couple productions.

Valeria Llaneza, is a 31 year old argentinian performer, singer and dancer. She is currently living her dream in New York City where she says Feels like home . At present, she is part of a tango production called Un tango para Tita as Do a Chola, a lonely 45 year old woman who gossips and yells a lot!

Next To Casi Normales is a concert featuring songs in English and Spanish from Next to Normal and Casi Normales (the Argentinean version produced in Buenos Aires in January 2012 that was awarded Best Musical of the season).

UN RATO CON EL, (A while with him) is an original Drama Play produced by one of it's main actors, Julio Chavez. The story invites us to think with humor about family bonds; A duel of brothers who, even in their differences, will discover that they have a lot in common.

The story happens in Chicago in 1929 where the musicians Jerry (Nicolas Cabré) and Joe (Federico D'Elia) must escape from the city, forced by threats from the gangsters, and dare to embark on an unusual adventure to Miami with an Orchestra of young ladies where they meet the gorgeous Sugar Kane (Griselda Siciliani).

Falling Angel is an original ballet piece that tells the story of world renowned Russian ballet dancer Andrei Vassiliev. Andrei interprets his journey through life with beautiful classical ballet interspersed with original, contemporary movement and production elements.

Lord is a man dominated by greed, and that quality has made him a despicable human being who contaminates his surroundings. A mean old man who keeps every cent he gets his hands on, he denies help to everyone who asks for it, he ignores the existence of his granddaughter and he seems incapable of any human feeling. His vileness is the result of a traumatic episode: the death of his wife and daughter.  Even in the midst of his twilight days, he does not seem willing to change. But it is Christmas Eve and the holiday spirit makes way for miracles to happen.  Lord will be blessed with the opportunity to change, perhaps not to heal his past life but, at least, to improve his remaining days.

Tigrou tells the story of a young child that gets lost in the woods. Looking for shelter for the night, he ends up in an old abandoned Castle. Tigrou´s arrival to the castle awakens the unseen dwellers lost in time. A group of acrobats, singers and dancers bring this fascinating tale to life, and they tell the story of this little boy's journey to adulthood.
