Winner of the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and praised by New York Theater Guide as 'a lively comedy and a profound exploration of the essence of communication and understanding,' ENGLISH by Sanaz Toossi, kicks off Alliance Theatre's 2023/24 season on the Hertz Stage until September 17th, 2023. A comedy of miscommunication, ENGLISH explores the crossroads of how we use language to communicate belonging and identify.
The Alliance Theatre has announced the productions in its 54th season. The new season will feature nine productions including four world premieres on its two stages, The Coca-Cola Stage and Hertz Stage.

Atlanta's nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre and Jennings Hertz Artistic Director Susan V. Booth are pleased to announce the productions of the Theater's 51st season. Since opening in 1968 the Alliance has been dedicated to expanding hearts and minds on stage and off with diverse programming for all ages. The 2019/20 season marks the Alliance's first full season back in its transformed performance space, the newly opened Coca-Cola Stage.
