Suffs creator Shaina Taub recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, alongside Secretary Hillary Clinton, who serves on the musical's producing team.

Taub shared the story of how she wrote a letter to Secretary Clinton in 2016, which led to her joining the show's team.

Plus, Taub also performed the song "Keep Marching" from the musical.

Suffs is currently in previews at the Music Box Theatre, with an opening night set for April 18th.

Suffs stars book writer, composer, and lyricist Shaina Taub in the role of Alice Paul, making her only the second woman in history to write the book, music, lyrics and star in her own Broadway musical. The show centers around the women's suffrage movement in the early twentieth century.
