CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR STARRING THE RADIO CITY ROCKETTES Extends Run Through January 6

The Madison Square Garden Company (NYSE: MSG) announced today that due to overwhelming demand, the 2018 production of the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, presented by Chase, will extend its run through January 6, 2019. The added performances are Wednesday, January 2 at 2:00PM and 8:00PM; Friday, January 4 at 2:00PM and 8:00PM; Saturday, January 5 at 1:00PM, 4:00PM and 7:00PM; and Sunday, January 6 at 12:00PM, 3:00PM and 6:00PM. The 2018 Christmas Spectacular, which features a brand-new finale number, "Christmas Lights," opened on November 9, 2018. Tickets for the 10 additional performances are on sale now at www.rockettes.com/christmas.

The 2018 Christmas Spectacular features a brand-new finale scene and immersive, new digital projections from Obscura Digital, in addition to the classic numbers that have made the production a beloved holiday tradition. In the new finale scene, "Christmas Lights," directed by Tony and Drama Desk Award-nominated director Sam Buntrock, 100 Intel® Shooting StarTMmini drones create a groundbreaking magical light show over the Great Stage of Radio City using choreographed movements to create holiday-themed silhouettes. The finale begins at the conclusion of the "Living Nativity" scene with the original light of Christmas - the North Star. Fragments of light suddenly appear as aerialists fly across the Great Stage. The drones build in numbers throughout the scene, culminating in the 100 Intel® mini drone light show. The Radio City Rockettes are then revealed, performing new choreography in glamorous new costumes designed by Tony and Drama Desk Award-nominated costume designer, Emilio Sosa. This large scale integrated drone performance is the first of its kind for theater and for Intel.

Obscura Digital, which MSG acquired in 2017, created all-new digital projections for fan favorite numbers, such as "The 12 Days of Christmas," "Nutcracker" and "Here Comes Santa Claus," as well as the new finale "Christmas Lights," and expanded the projections for "New York at Christmas." The projections transport audiences from their seats right to the center of the action - from the North Pole, to Central Park, to a manger in Bethlehem.

The 2018 production of the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, presented by Chase, is running now through January 6, 2019. The Christmas Spectacular is proud to be presented by Chase.
